Creative Social Centre founded at the synagogue

The Creative Social Centre for seniors was started in the synagogue in 1982, with Helen Knight as its co-ordinator; it offers classes in art, choir, creative writing, folk dancing, sculpture and more, and an annual Vernissage. In 2012 The Scroll said the Centre was celebrating its 30th anniversary.
